Children

Here at the GLSN it is our goal to teach students of all age groups the ability to effectively communicate in German, both verbally and in writing, while providing a fun-loving environment in which the students experience, enjoy, and appreciate the German language and culture.

For our younger students, we offer early childhood, preschool, and lower elementary school programs with opportunities to either learn or expand their knowledge of the German language and culture.

Our unique two-track program starting at age 8, supports both, foreign language learners as well as heritage students with native knowledge of German (see diagram).

Our curriculum is endorsed by the Central Agency for Schools Aboard (ZFA) and based on the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR). We are also a licensed “Pasch-Schule”.
