Jasneet grew up in India, where she earned a masters degree in German and completed her teachers training at the Goethe Institut, which is where she initially learned the language as well. She has been teaching the language ever since.

She has taught at the Goethe Institut, various public schools in the US, the Chicago Waldorf school and currently teaches online with IVSA.
