Cynthia was born in Würzburg, Bavaria. After graduating from high school, she pursued a bachelor's degree in modern languages and economics, followed by a master's degree in international relations. During her undergraduate studies, she spent a year in Japan as an exchange student. At the University in Osaka, she worked at the Global Learning Center, supporting Japanese students with their German and English language assessments.

Two years ago, she moved to the United States to marry a local Chicagoan. Cynthia speaks several languages and is passionate about cultural exchange. She enjoys traveling and learning from different cultures around the world.
