September 8th, 2023 through May 17th, 2024, Fridays, from 4pm - 6:30pm Teacher: Tristan Druelinger German 4 is a two-year program in which students will be guided through the advanced A2 curriculum with a mixture of academics and fun games. The continuous improvement of verbal and written communication skills is central to this class. Students will engage in conversations about topics from their everyday life. At the end of the program, students will gain advanced knowledge of German grammar including declination of all word classes, conjugation of verbs in all tenses and the complex nature of German syntax. Their expanded vocabulary helps them understand all topics from their day to day environment covered in this class incl. social life and media. Students stay in this class for two years and take the AATG level 2 and 3 test and the IVA 2. This program will prepare students to enter classes on the B1 level (see track 2). Moving to that level will be based on the test and the teacher's recommendation. The text- and workbook will be available for purchase on the first day of school.
