Helau! Alaaf! Hoi, hoi, hoi!

Karneval is a tradition celebrated in February in many regions of Germany. Our students will celebrate Karneval on Feb. 9th, 2024 in the hallways of the school and their classrooms.  We will enjoy some Music, Schunkeln, and bring the hallways alive with a fun Polonaise. 

Please send your child in a school-appropriate costume; nothing fancy, last year's Halloween costume will do. Anything resembling a weapon (gun, sword, knife, stick, etc.) should be left at home. 

During the celebration in the classrooms, students will enjoy a traditional pretzel, juice, water, and some fun games! 

Please note:

We are currently working on finding a way to let the parents join in on the fun, and celebrate Karneval with us. Our new location at Warrenville Campus offers many new opportunities and some new challenges compared to our previous location. The event planning is currently still ongoing.

School ends at 6:30pm!
