Annika grew up near Leipzig (East Germany). She studied economics and worked for a leasing company in Neuss (NRW) for 17 years. In 2013, she moved to the U.S. with her husband and daughter. Annika joined the German Language School of Naperville in 2014.

A competitive swimmer growing up, Annika also works as a trained swim coach in Naperville, where teaching methods help with her classroom routine at the GLSN. Annika gained teaching experience at the College of DuPage (COD). “Teaching German has always been a dream, and I am thankful for the opportunity to teach the German language and culture to the students at the Naperville German Language School for many more years.”
